Threaded Rod

Thread Rolled Bar & Rod

Precision thread rolling techniques employed at Rolled Threads Unlimited produces bar and rod with superior strength, finish and dimensional integrity with accurate lead tolerances. We offer the broadest size range in the industry: .0312” thru 7” diameter. All the major thread forms are rolled: Unified, UNJ, Metric, Acme, Trapezoidal, Worms, Knurls and special configurations. Carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, brass and aluminum are available in all the thread forms.

Threaded Rod

Unified Threaded Rod

Unified threaded bar & rod is available as coarse thread ( UNC) and fine thread (UNF) series. Thread pitches from 4 TPI to 100 TPI and finer. Special lengths up to 40 Ft.

Unified UNJ Threads

Unified UNJ Threads

Fasteners for demanding applications are often specified with the UNJ thread form. The controlled and more generously radius root enhances the fatigue resistance of fasteners. Applications include aerospace and engine hardware.

Unified UNJ threads are offered in four different types of pitches including
  • Coarse pitches
  • Fine pitches
  • Extra fine pitches
  • Constant pitches

  • Threaded Rod

    Acme Threaded Bar and Rod

The acme product is rolled in diameters from 1/8” to 7 1/2” and lengths to 40 Ft. Right and left hand acme bar is available as well as multiple leads, stub acme forms and classes 2C, 2G, 3C & 3G. Precision lead screw applications are accommodated by lead accuracy capability as close as .003/ft and straightness to .001/inch. Carbon steel, heat treated alloys, stainless steel, aluminum and nickel alloys are rolled in the acme forms.

    Threaded Rod

    Trapezoidal Threaded Bar and Rod

Trapezoidal threads have a 30 degree included angle versus 29 degrees for the acme form. Rolled Threads produces trapezoidal bar in the same size ranges and material varieties as acme bar.

The thread pitch ranges from 1mm through 10mm for all RH and LH operations. The diameter ranges from 4mm through 170mm and the available classes of fit are 6e, 7e, and 8c. We follow an ISO metric profile for our trapezoidal threaded rods.

    Threaded Rod

    Metric Threaded Bar and Rod

Our metric threaded fasteners are used in a wide variety of applications. Rolled Threads has tooling available to make metric sizes in all the coarse and fine thread pitches. Size capabilities range from 2mm thru 160mm diameter and 8mm to .4mm pitch. Right hand and left hand.
